TECHNICAL SERVICES ARTS AND SCIENCES EXHIBITION
This exhibition brings together University of Sussex Technical Services staff from across the Faculties of Media, Arts & Humanities and Life Sciences and showcases a broad range of work from film, photography, music, and sound, to sculpture, graphic design, and illustration. With technical staff working across multiple disciplines, this work aims to further interconnect the arts and sciences.
When: 25- 29 September 12.00-17.00
Where: Project Space, Phoenix Art Space, 10-14 Waterloo Place, Brighton BN2 9NB
Some of the work presented showcases the skilled day-to-day work that technical staff carry out at the University, whilst others are showcasing their creative practice outside of their technical roles, recognising and acknowledging that many technicians are talented and successful practitioners as well as brilliant technicians and educators
The Technical Services Arts & Sciences Exhibition has at its core the principles of the Technician Commitment: Recognition, Career Development, Visibility, and Sustainability and is a celebration of interdisciplinarity, togetherness, and community.
Entrance is free.
