Events

As part of Cyber Security Awareness Month, we are delighted to welcome guest speakers Andrew Dillon from email and security agency company Mimecast and Michael Pickett from UK digital agency company JISC.

The event will be facilitated by Sussex Chief Digital Transformation Officer Jason Oliver. This is an in-person event where staff will learn about a variety of current cyber threats affecting the higher education sector.   

Alongside our guest speakers, there is an option for staff to test their detective skills by taking part in our Cyber Escape Room Challenge designed by Dr Katie Piatt – Head of Educational Enhancement. When booking please state on the order form if you would like to participate and we will be in contact with you with a time.  

The speaker event will last 1 hour with opportunity to participate.  

All staff are invited, and refreshments will be provided. This event may be recorded.
