I did more in a span of one year at Sussex than I imagine myself doing in ten years! It's been one hell of a beautiful and tiring journey.
I ran for student rep, I became a Union Councillor, I even ran for postgraduate education officer after only 4 months of being in the UK, with no planning whatsoever - and it will be one of the best experiences of my life to date.
I have made best friends from four different countries, and I met countless people who are just wonderful and exceptional in their own way. I managed to do seven jobs in one year to fund myself (we all know how expensive Brighton is!) but working in the Students Union and being in that environment will bethe best of them all.
From moving to a new country, to finding people who I now call best friends, Sussex has made it all possible.
Sussex gave me a home away from home and when I leave after my graduation, I will leave a part of me here - a part of me that was brave enough to break out of her shell, a part of me that shined just like the people around her. I will leave a family in Sussex which is not confined within Brighton, but all over the world. Thank you for the memories Sussex.
You will forever be the favourite chapter of my life.
