Mimecast authentication changing to Okta
We are changing the authentication of Mimecast to use Okta from tomorrow (Thursday 29 January). This means that when you log in to Mimecast you will be presented with an Okta login, which looks like this: There should be minimal impact as we have tested this thoroughly
Turnitin issue 27 January - RESOLVED
Turnitin have reported that a recent incident is now resolved. Due to an unexpected service incident, you may have found that users accessing the service via an integration encounter an error message in Feedback Studio today
Issue with audio recording in lecture theatres and seminar rooms
Following a recent audio driver update, Panopto may not automatically select a primary audio source when it opens. If no microphone is selected (see first image), the Record button will appear greyed out. Fix: Before starting your recording, use the Audio drop-down to select Microphone — once selected, the record button will become active and the green audio level bar should respond when you speak (see second image). We are currently working on a resolution and apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
