The Co-op supermarket in Bramber House, September 2011

A new Co-op supermarket opened today (Wednesday 7 September) on the ground floor of the refurbished Bramber House. 

The new 3,500 sq ft store has been fitted out in the space previously occupied by the Students' Union newsagent, McColl's supermarket, Post Office, Baguette Express and toilets. 

The groceries - including Fairtrade products, local produce and other fresh food - on sale in the new Co-op complement the revamped café and restaurant facilities on the ground and first floors of Bramber House. Other items include newspapers and magazines. 

The Co-op's opening hours are 7am-11pm, seven days a week; the Post Office inside the store is open Monday-Friday from 9.30am-5.30pm.
