University increases Cycle to Work Scheme limit to £4,000 when leasing from either of our providers

The lease limit with one of our providers: Halfords, has now increased from £3,000 to £4,000 for new leases in line with the same increase for Cycle Solutions which was applied from December 2024. We are pleased to enable more choice of cycle and safety equipment for our staff.
With Halfords, until now staff have been able to lease bikes, including e-bikes and accessories up to the value of £3,000, with lease agreements of 12, 18 and 24 months to suit your needs, as follows:
Bike and equipment leasing options (Cycle Solutions and Halfords)
Cost: up to £2,000
- Lease length: 12 or 18 months
- Minimum contract (fixed term): 14 or 20 months.
Cost: £2,001-£3,000
- Lease length: 12, 18 or 24 months
- Minimum contract (fixed term): 14, 20 or 26 months.
Cost: £3,001 - £4,000
- Lease length: 24 months
- Minimum contract (fixed term): 26 months
