Global Engagement invites colleagues to apply for the European Partnership Development Fellowship (EPDF) scheme, providing an excellent opportunity for academic and professional services staff to collaborate and exchange knowledge with the university’s key European partners.
The EPDF is designed to connect like-minded researchers, teachers, and professionals from Sussex and selected European universities in a dynamic and stimulating interdisciplinary environment. If you're passionate about fostering collaborative research, enhancing your teaching skills, and expanding your professional network, then the EPDF is available to support you.
Current partner institutions eligible for the scheme include:
- Aarhus University
- Charles University
- KU Leuven
- University of Bologna
- University of Warsaw
These partners have been carefully chosen based on their exceptional reputation and commitment to fostering collaborative engagement.
We are seeking individuals from across the university to apply for funding to support their work with European partners. Funding is available to cover the cost of travel and accommodation for 3–10 day visits at Sussex or with the partner. The fellowship aims to create tangible outcomes including publications, grant applications, joint workshops, as well as mobility or teaching opportunities.
The application form and EPDF specification can be found on the EPDF webpage. Applications for the EPDF are accepted on a rolling basis and should be submitted to the Global Partnerships team. Any queries can be directed to Louise Turton, Global Partnerships Manager, at L.A.Turton@sussex.ac.uk .
