Registration is now open for the Bennett Institute’s upcoming launch event and inaugural symposium, being held on 27 February 2025 (10:00-18:00) at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London. The symposium “Tackling the climate crisis through innovation and policy acceleration” will feature keynote presentations sessions, panel debates and networking sessions with leading figures in the climate change field.
In the presence of our benefactor Peter Bennett and Professor Sasha Roseneil, Vice Chancellor University of Sussex we would be delighted to welcome you to the event.
With a keynote presentation from Gillian Tett, Provost of Kings College Cambridge; Columnist and Member of the Editorial Board Financial Times.
Confirmed speakers and panellists for our programme include, Professor Sir Jim Skea, Chair United Nations IPCC, Robin Millington, founding CEO Planet Tracker, Elree Winnett-Seelig, Head of Environmental, Social & Governance Citi Group, Gong Ke (past-President) World Federation of Engineering Organisations, Valerie Hickey, Global Director for the Environment at the World Bank, Emmie Hine, Research Associate Yale University, Somya Joshi, Head of Division-Global Agendas, Climate and Systems; Associate Professor, Governance and Sustainability, Stockholm University, Sander van der Linden, Professor of Social Psychology in Society, University of Cambridge and The Lord McDonald of Salford GCMG KCVO.
