As the University’s new Senior Security Manager, I wanted to introduce myself and say how much I appreciate how welcoming everyone has been since I started at the beginning of October.
With the winter season now upon us, I also thought it would be a good opportunity to remind the community that the University Security Team and I are here to keep you and the campus safe.
You too can play a vital role, and we ask that you report anything that makes you feel unsafe.
You know your surroundings better than anyone else and this doesn’t just apply to the campus and your work or study spaces, but on your commute and where you live too.
So, if you see or hear something that makes you feel unsafe on campus, please do not hesitate to get in touch on 01273 67 8234 or email Security@sef.fm – our emergency phone number is 01273 873333.
By working together and staying attentive, we can ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone. Let’s make this winter season a safe one for all.
