In this session, practical demos of using SPSS software to undertake quantitative analysis will be given for a range of statistical tests. The tests will use educational data examples.
By attending this session, you will:
- Become familiar with data entry on SPSS
- Understand some common pitfalls with using PSS
- Use SPSS to run some basic statistical tests for pre-defined data
- Become familiar with online sources of help for SPSS
This session forms part of 3 sessions on working with quantitative data in scholarship studies
- Session 1: Working as a co-author on a quantitative study
- Session 2: Planning quantitative studies
- Session 3: Undertaking quantitative analysis using SPSS
Participants can join in all or a selection of sessions based on their prior knowledge and experience.
