Apply to become a Green Impact Project Assistant by 20 October 2024!
The University of Sussex is looking for dedicated students to volunteer as Green Impact Project Assistants. In this role, you’ll work closely with a University School or department to support their sustainability initiatives and help them work towards a Green Impact award.
This is your chance to shape real-world sustainability at your University while building key professional skills in communication, project planning, leadership and teamwork. You’ll spend just a few hours each month working closely with staff, making a meaningful contribution to the University’s sustainability goals and gaining valuable experience in return.
Successful applicants will receive in-depth training delivered by SOS-UK, and you can shape the role based on your own skills, interests and experience, as well as your assigned Green Impact team’s needs.
Volunteering will be flexible around your studies and other commitments and you will be supported by SOS-UK throughout the process. At the end of the academic year, you will be awarded with a digital badge to demonstrate your experience and will be invited to join the end of year Green Impact Awards Ceremony.
If you’re ready to enhance your skills and make a lasting impact, apply now to become a Green Impact Project Assistant and take the next step in your sustainability journey.
Applicants must be able to attend a training session on Monday 4 November 2-4pm.
