The Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (ACCA) has announced an eclectic programme for this autumn.
Part of the new Division of Library, Culture and Heritage, the ACCA’s new programme brings global culture and arts to the heart of campus. From innovative contemporary artists to thought-provoking music, performances, screenings, talks and festivals, there is something at the ACCA for everybody. You can view the full programme and book tickets on the ACCA website.
Laura McDermott, Creative Director at the ACCA, said: “The autumn 2024 season at the ACCA is a shared labour of love, carefully co-curated and produced with many partners and collaborators. The Coast is Queer is the UK’s biggest LGBTQ+ literature festival and we’re proud that it has its home at ACCA on the University of Sussex campus. This season, thanks to our brand-new digital cinema projector, we are presenting an even bigger programme as part of CINECITY film festival. Laura Ducceschi (our associate music programmer) has brought another electric series of contemporary music gigs to the venue. We’re also thrilled to be hosting the 21st century re-working of Blast Theory’s seminal location-based game, Can You See Me Now? following a successful Kickstarter campaign to redevelop the game. It’s returning to the University of Sussex campus to mark 20 years since it was presented at Gardner Arts Centre back in 2004!”
