Warm days are nearly over and although it’s getting a bit cooler out there, there are many outlets on campus that’d make for the perfect coffee or lunch spot this autumn.
From your favourite returning cafés to the trusty spots that kept us fuelled over the summer, here is a list of the catering outlets available:
Sussex Uni Food outlets
- Eat Central is opening its brand-new doors on Friday 13 September and Sussex Uni Food cannot wait to introduce everyone to their fantastic new menus! Head over to Bramber House Monday-Friday, between 8am-9pm, to get your caffeine fix, order a nutritious meal or a quick bite, and check out the Sussex Saver of the day. Kitchen closes 8.30pm.
- As part of the Eat Central opening, Tortilla will be back with their signature burritos from 13 September, serving customers on weekdays between 11am-9pm (last order 8.30pm).
- Doctor’s Orders has reopened with Redroaster coffee and healthy sandwiches, as well as new offers including budget-friendly light salad options and fruit-packed smoothies, served Monday to Friday between 8am-3.30pm.
- ACCA Café will reopen on 16 September, with a revamped menu, and continue to serve Redroaster coffee and hot food on weekdays, between 10am-5.30pm. The mouthwatering menu will feature Argentinian Empanadas by local independent supplier, Malo!

- Looking for great coffee and a quick bite? Continue to visit the Arts Piazza Café which, from 16 September, will be open between 7.30am-6pm on weekdays and 9am-4pm at the weekend. The Café serves Redemption Roasters coffee – every cup supports a great cause, helping reduce reoffending by training prisoners and helping them find employment after release.
