This week, 24-30 June, marks World Wellbeing Week which offers an opportunity to focus on various aspects of wellbeing, including physical, mental, emotional, and financial health.
World Wellbeing Week was set up to remind us of the importance of a balanced approach to life, where physical health, mental clarity, emotional stability, and financial security are all taken into consideration.
Good workplace wellbeing is essential. Among other things it helps to:
- enhance productivity, engagement and motivation;
- reduce absenteeism and boost presenteeism;
- ensure staff retention and contribute to career progression;
- build a positive and inclusive work culture where everyone is able to be their authentic selves in the workplace.
This week is the perfect opportunity to set aside some time to take an in-depth look at what resources, information and support is available on the Staff Wellbeing Hub.
Also don’t forget to check out the fantastic line up of speakers, events and activities that have been arranged for the All-Staff Wellbeing Festival on 17 July to help boost your wellbeing at work.
