Earlier this year, we were thrilled to share news of our success in a government competition aimed at developing a comprehensive plan to reduce emissions across the Port. Now, you’re invited to hear about our progress so far!
In this session, hear from our Chief Executive, Tom as we dive into the heart of our decarbonisation plan project and learn about the steps we're already taking towards a greener future. Plus, we’ll be joined by Graeme from Ricardo plc, our research partner for the initiative, who will share initial insights and takeaways from the data analysis shaping our Cluster’s strategy.
Learn how collaborative partnerships with University of Sussex, Ricardo plc, Brighton & Hove City Council, Adur & Worthing Councils, Barrett Steel Limited, Local Fuels, and CEMEX UK are driving the Shoreham Port Industrial Cluster forward. Whether you're a member of our vibrant business community, an advocate for sustainability, or simply curious about our journey, this event promises to inform and intrigue.
The Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plans (LIDP) Competition is run by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) in collaboration with Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
