On Thursday 20 June, the University of Sussex hosted its inaugural Sussex Science Fair, showcasing the groundbreaking research happening across the Science cluster.
Visitors of all ages, from secondary school students to university staff, were treated to a variety of inspiring exhibits. Attendees learned about the latest advancements in Alzheimer's research, peered into the depths of the universe with the help of the James Webb Space Telescope, and even compared themselves to our great ape cousins through a fun interactive puzzle.
The fair was a collaborative effort between researchers, professional services staff and the University of Sussex Students' Union.
You can also visit three of the Science Fair exhibitors at this year's Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition, taking place from Tuesday 2 July until Sunday 7 July in London.
All the exhibits are accessible to family audiences and will also be available online.
