Kristine Langhoff, Professor of Social Work and Social Care and Interim Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor (Knowledge Exchange) at Sussex, will talk about what trauma is and how the framework of ‘trauma-informed practice’ can help improve individual wellbeing and organisational resilience.

She will also touch on how we can navigate being able to support those who are experiencing difficulties, without us feeling that we are stepping into therapist territory. This will be followed by a Q&A session.

This is an online session and will be recorded.

This event has been arranged as part of Sussex’s All-Staff Wellbeing Festival which will be a celebration designed to harmonise mental, physical, and financial wellbeing. This festival is set to inspire with a dynamic lineup of expert speakers, invigorating fitness activities, enriching learning opportunities, and so much more.
