Why is it important to have coaching conversations at work?

Research from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and other organisations, have shown that employees who receive regular coaching are more likely to feel satisfied with their jobs and valued by their organisation.
Coaching conversations at work not only enhance performance and boost engagement and motivation, but they also provide an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and help resolve conflict, and when managers invest time in coaching, it shows employees that their growth and development are valued.
Coaching conversations are also essential during times of change, as they help employees understand, adapt to, and embrace new processes or structures. This support can reduce resistance and increase the likelihood of successful change implementation.
Use this coaching framework to help develop coaching conversations.
