Career Lab Summer Internships Opportunities Open!

Do you want to get more career experience through a summer internship? Then we have some good news for you! Career Lab summer internships are open!
Career Lab UK Summer Internships
- All internships are paid at least the real Living Wage (£12 per hour UK rate and £13.15 per hour London rate) and are exclusive to all Sussex second, third and final year undergraduates.
- This year’s internships come from organisations in a range of sectors, including charities and social enterprises, media production, PR and marketing, technology, software development, political parties and consultancy.
- Most are full-time, but part-time internships over a longer duration may be considered.
- There is a mixture of office-based, remote-working and hybrid roles.
- All advertising employers will have attended Disability Empowerment training by EmployAbility to ensure an inclusive, positive experience. Students can register with EmployAbility for more information and individual support.

Career Lab online global summer internship programme
Our programme is run by Virtual Internships.
- All programme fees are covered and you will receive a generous bursary of £1,440 to contribute towards your living costs (equivalent to the UK real Living Wage at £12 an hour).
- The online global summer internships are part-time opportunities, involving 20 or 30 hours of work per week (a total of 120 hours).
- You can choose from two start dates in either July or August 2024.
- All successful applicants are guaranteed an online internship placement in a career field of your choice.
- You do not need to find your own internship. The Virtual Internships team will work to match you with an appropriate organisation for you.
Student can apply for both of the internship programmes above, but can only accept one opportunity.
