For undergraduate finalists, the deadline for logging Spirit of Sussex Award points is Monday 1 April.
The award is your opportunity to showcase your engagement to future employers – you can also add your award to your CV and LinkedIn.
The more points you earn, the higher the award:
- Bronze: 25 points
- Silver: 50 points
- Gold: 75 points.
Even if you haven’t logged any points yet, there is still time to reach an award level!
Don’t forget - you can log points for activities you have done throughout all your years at Sussex. So, reflect back on some of the activities you have taken part in during your time at University, and log those points!
Here some ideas for points you can log to reach a Bronze award (25 points):
- Complete the Skills and Strengths review via the Spirit of Sussex Award platform (Automatically adds 5 points)
- Attended events in One world week (+5 points under Creativity and Culture)
- Working at a part time job (+5 points under Work Experience)
- Complete the National Student Survey (+5 points under Co-creation and Evaluation)
- Being a member of a sport or society (+5 points under Sports and Recreation)
- Voted in the Students’ Union officer elections (+5 points under Student representation and democracy)
- Complete a LinkedIn Learning course (+5 points under Training and Development)
