The University of Sussex Business School is delighted to announce the re-accreditation of our Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management MSc course by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), ensuring its continued excellence for the next five years.
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is the chartered body for professionals involved in the movement of goods and people and their associated supply chains. CILT(UK) Accredited programmes are the globally-recognised benchmarks for logistics and transport training, accrediting only those programmes that meet the requirements needed for students to excel within the profession.
Dr Maria Holgado Granados, Course Director of the Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management MSc programme, said:
“I am very pleased with the successful renewal of our CILT accreditation for the next five years.
“It is a strong statement that our course meets the international standards of CILT in its curriculum and its pedagogical approach and that it is up to date with latest trends on the development and improvement of logistics and supply chain operations. Our students benefit from CILT specialist activities and engagement opportunities, and from the support of CILT regional groups.”
The CILT re-accreditation follows our recent re-accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). The double accreditation status is a testament to the quality of our Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management MSc course and its alignment with the industry standards.
Students benefit from the opportunity to enhance career prospects and extend professional networks through membership of two leading professional bodies.
The Business School is dedicated to preparing the next generation of professionals who will shape the future of global supply chain and logistics.
