Dr Marcelo Staricoff, Lecturer in Primary Education, Co-Course Leader for the Primary and Early Years Education BA course in the Department of Education, and author of The Joy of Not Knowing, has had a 7-page article printed in the latest (Autumn 2023, Vol.26, No.3) edition of the journal, Primary Mathematics (pp 15-21), received by all members of the Mathematical Association.
In the article, Marcelo officially launches and develops his idea of 'dis-metacognition' in the Primary Mathematics classroom which he first introduced in The Joy of Not Knowing.
Marcelo was approached for the peer reviewed article by the Editor of Primary Mathematics who works at the University of Cambridge.
