Announcing the first winners of the Education and Innovation Fund

Four projects have been awarded up to £5,000 through the new Education and Innovation Fund.
Launched in October 2022, the fund is part of our Learn to Transform strategy. The initiative aims to drive positive changes in the way we deliver our teaching and learning experience by stimulating student and staff co-creation, and rewarding innovation and teaching excellency.
Meet the winners

Project title: Globally Networked Learning: Sussex Writes Expands to Work with Looked-after Children in India
Project lead: Mark Puttock-Brown
Project title: Development of a new gamified sustainability teaching tool in Engineering and Informatics
Project lead: Eljee Javier
Project title: PASS Facilitators to support International Students
Professor Claire Smith, Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Innovation, said:

The winners of this first round will help to pave the way for a Pedagogic Revolution at Sussex, as part of our ‘Learn to Transform’ strategy. We hope the outcomes and resources that these projects generate will benefit our community as a whole.”
