The Spirit of Sussex Award and Connector programme are hosting an exciting and informative LinkedIn workshop open to all students. It will take place from 3pm to 4:30pm on Wednesday 2 November in Woodland 2 at the Student Centre.  

The workshop is titled ‘Optimize your online profile with LinkedIn’ and it will have a key focus on personal development. The session will be delivered by staff and student connectors, and will provide essential training and guidance on how to create a high-quality LinkedIn profile that showcases your skills and attracts employers.   

Attendees can expect essential training on developing a high-quality profile, interactive activities focused on expanding networks and the opportunity to have a professional LinkedIn photograph taken. The team have also organised a guest speaker who will talk about their experience of creating a strong profile to enhance their prospects and gain further opportunities.  

By the end of the session, you can expect to have: 

• boosted your online profile to attract employers and enhance you career ambitions.  
• expanded your network to maximise opportunities.  
• gained a greater knowledge of what opportunities exist at the university and how you can get involved to maximise your profiles.  
• have a professional LinkedIn photo taken to showcase on your profile.
  

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for all Sussex students to receive training delivered by staff and students. The event will also allow you to find out more about the Spirit of Sussex Award and the Connector programme and how you can get involved.
