If you’re thinking of unlocking your potential by studying a postgraduate course, join us at our Masters Open Day taking place on campus on Saturday 12 March.
Attending a Masters Open Day is a great opportunity to meet with faculty and student support staff, and it also gives you the chance to ask current Masters students what life as a postgraduate student is really like.
People come to Masters studies from many different backgrounds and experiences, which means the questions they ask our current students can be really varied.
Anahita, a current Global Studies Masters student who has taken part in a number of current student Q&As explains how she has found taking part in the sessions:
”Many of the questions are thoughts I had myself before coming to Sussex, such as the impact of Covid and feeling daunted about coming back to university after the world of work. I have really enjoyed taking part in student panel sessions. It has been really interesting and fun to hear about my co-panellists' experiences at Sussex and help prospective students get an idea of what student life has been like for us so far in an informal and friendly setting. Hopefully, we've been able to shed some light on what it was like for us at least!"
So, if you’re thinking about studying for a Masters and you want to find out what it’s really like, join our current student Q&A sessions on Saturday 12 March at the Masters Open Day on campus.
During the Masters Open Days you’ll be able to:
- attend subject talks and discuss courses with academic staff
- meet current Masters students and find out what postgraduate study is really like
- attend presentations on applying, scholarships, and funding
- get advice on accommodation, student support, and career development.
