If you're interested in developing your creative media skills, you can apply to become one of our Digital Media Creators. We’re looking for candidates who are eager to share their student journey online, who like to try new things and experiment with new content formats.

You'll get paid to create social media content and help run our channels. There are opportunities to share stories through photography, blogging and long- and short-form video content.

It’s a casual, paid role with flexible hours, so you can earn extra money while you study. There's a minimum commitment of six hours per month, alongside a monthly meeting with staff and your fellow creators. You’ll also get a one-week paid internship working closely with Digital, Creative and Communications staff – though there are opportunities to work with colleagues and students across the whole University, from Academic Schools and Professional Services, and the Students’ Union.

Don’t worry if you don’t have any previous experience in a similar role – we’re happy to help you develop your content production or presenting skills if you’ve got the ideas and creativity. Before you start, we provide full training and access to content production equipment – and you’ll gain fantastic experience to put on your CV.
