Careers support for international students
The Careers and Employability Centre is offering three new focused careers sessions for international students to address what you've told us is most important to you
The first session will cover how to explore graduate vacancies both in the UK and in your home and other international labour markets, demonstrating key resources you can use to find the best opportunities.
Next, we’ll run a session on applying for jobs in the UK and international markets, focusing on how best to articulate the skills you’ve gained through your UK degree in both writing and at interviews. We’ll also take a look at resources that provide guides and support on applying for jobs all around the world.
Finally, we will have a video session launching in November about how you can gain experience alongside studying your UK degree. In this increasingly competitive world, relevant experience can be a huge asset both here and in your home country to help you secure the career you want.
You will find more events on CareerHub throughout the year including employer events, skills workshops and careers fairs. Visit careerhub.sussex.ac.uk or www.sussex.ac.uk/careers to find out more.
