We want to make sure you are aware of where you can access the latest information on Brexit.
Current legislation, unless an extension is granted to the Article 50 process, means the UK will be leaving the European Union on the 31October, 2019.
Whether the UK does leave on that date or not, we want all of our staff and students who come from EU countries, to know that they are a valued part of the Sussex community, and it is a priority for us to ensure they can continue to work and study with us.
Whether you are a member of staff or a student, we want to keep you up to date with the relevant information you need about Brexit and how it affects you as soon as any new guidance becomes available.
We have updated our Brexit hub and it has:
- Information for staff from the EU providing access to help and advice; and
- Information for current and prospective students, which directs students to advice on a range of issues such as; tuition fees, student loans, citizens’ rights and travelling in Europe.
In addition there will be a number of briefing sessions run by the International Student Support team for students on the EU Settlement Scheme every Wednesday in October between 2-3pm, held at Pevensey 1A7.
If you're a member of staff and you'd like to speak to someone in person, you can also contact our Human Resources team.
