Sussex has been busy celebrating its biggest ever graduation event this week, with more than 3,500 graduands receiving their degrees in person along with 13,000 guests at the Brighton Centre.
This year Sanjeev Bhaskar marks a decade as the Chancellor of the University of Sussex – “an unbelievable gift” that has made him want to experience more of campus life and get more involved in the daily life of the students before they reach graduation.
Today he received a surprise Honorary Doctorate from the University in recognition of his role helping present 50,000 degrees to grateful graduates.
