University of Sussex Business School recently hosted an insightful talk into Aston Martin Lagonda’s procurement and supply chain function.
Mr. Richard Jesson, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, and Mr. Kian Mostofi, Senior Strategist Global Procurement & Supply Chain Development, from Aston Martin kindly accepted our invitation to hold a talk at University of Sussex Business School.
They passionately informed an audience of approximately 60, including both students and members of faculty, about Aston Martin Lagonda’s procurement strategies in a fascinating two hour talk. There was a large emphasis on the impact of their recent IPO, external challenges such as Brexit as well as their overall philosophy towards their supplier management.
Lecturer in Operations Management, Dr. Martin C Schleper, organiser of the event, commented: “It is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to listen to high-calibre speakers from practice. However, this guest talk tonight was an extraordinary brilliant and insightful event in which we learned a lot about the exciting future opportunities at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd.”.
