To underline the importance of listening to student feedback and providing positive changes to your student experience, the Library will now be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week during term time (apart from closure days/bank holidays).

So, from 10.00am on Saturday 16 September the library will not shut until 7.00pm on Friday 21 December – a period of 96 consecutive days.

Additionally, the library will now accommodate and extra 90 study spaces on the ground floor – once again in response to student feedback.

Sussex Library’s Grainne McDermott said of the changes:

“We are really pleased to have been able to respond to student feedback in such a positive way.“
