A recent paper from Ranko Jelic (Professor of Finance, Department of Business and Management) - titled 'Lockup Agreements and Survival of UK IPOs' and co-authored with Wasim Ahmad (University of Birmingham) - has been cited in the Financial Times’ 'Lex' column.  

Ranko’s research highlights the importance of lockup characteristics on the subsequent performance of newly listed firms and has informed recent debate on alleged short-termism in the UK equity market.
