Sabre: Search the libraries of both Brighton University and the University of Sussex with one integrated catalogue.

Ever wanted to search the University of Sussex or Brighton University libraries for a book or a journal without having to navigate through numerous different web pages? What if you could browse both catalogues at the same time, from the same place? Sabre is a new service which allows you to search both library catalogues on-line with ease, drawing bibliographic and availability information into one, simple interface.
Check if an item is available in Brighton University or the University of Sussex with real-time availability information. Refine your search by format (book, journal), author or even institution. Reserve items based at your home library with ease by following the link back to the original library catalogue. Sabre also has an optimised interface for smart phones, so users can easily access it on the move.
The Sabre service will particularly benefit Brighton and Sussex Medical School students and researchers (who have access to both libraries) but it is hoped that other researchers and students from both institutions, not to mention members of the local community, will also find the new service useful.
