Glyndebourne Opera House
Backstage tour, 2.15 pm Friday 23d November 2018
We have arranged a visit to the Glyndebourne Opera House on Friday 23d November 2018. After tea or coffee in the wonderful Organ Room, we will see the huge backstage area, dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms and some of the costume workshops and stores. This should prove to be a remarkable experience giving us an insight in how the elaborate operas are staged.
We have 15 places reserved for us with the cost per person being £15.
We will meet at 2.15 pm at the starting point for the tour which is in the Organ Room just to the right of the box office.
As I have had to pay for the tickets up front on my credit card, I'm afraid that you will have to send me a cheque rather than the University. Please see the booking form at the end of this Newsletter. I will acknowledge receipt of your cheque by email.
Do come along and book early as our numbers are strictly limited to 15. The deadline for booking is Tuesday 20th November.

Terrace Room, 3rd Floor, Bramber House,

The Christmas buffet lunch for Suss-Ex Club members, their guests, and USPAS pensioners, will take place on Thursday 13th December, from 12.30 2.30pm in the Terrace Room, 3rd floor, Bramber House. There is a lift to take you to the 3rd floor.
(USPAS members will receive a separate invitation via the USPAS Office and should reply to Tracey Llewellyn.)
If you are driving to the University and wish to collect a parking notice to display in your car (so that you do not have to pay for and display a parking ticket!) please as in previous years - collect the parking notice on your way in, from the Reception Desk in Sussex House. You may park in any general parking space in any of the campus car parks.
The cost of the party to Suss-Ex Club members is £8 per person (guests are welcome) and includes a buffet lunch, welcoming drink, and tea or coffee. The closing date for bookings is Friday 30th November, but please book before then if possible.
Print and complete the booking form at the end of this Newsletter, and return it with a cheque made out to University of Sussex to:
