When it comes to money, many of us have made mistakes and decisions we’re not proud of. But learning from these is what’s important. From buying guilty pleasures to bigger money mishaps, there’s also comfort in knowing that usually, when it comes to money, no one’s perfect and you’re not the first to make the mistake. For five days a month between May and July, our Instagram Stories will become a place where students can go to share their ‘money confessions’ and read other students’ submissions to see that they’re not alone, try to avoid making the same mistakes and let go of any fear around talking about money. This will be a safe space and all confessions will be anonymised before being shared on our Stories.

Plus, all entries will go into a prize draw to win £50! (One prize of £50 will be up for grabs each month.) It will also be a good place for staff to learn about the biggest financial challenges for students, and to see how the cost of living crisis is directly impacting them.

The 2023 Money Confessions dates are:

● May 15th-19th

● June 19th-23rd

● July 10th-14th
