Sussexsport is celebrating five years of community partnership with Brighton's High Top Circus.
The partnership has created a unique opportunity for staff, students and children from the wider Sussex community to try out activities that include aerial yoga, trapeze and the very popular children's circus skills camps.
Operating from the University's Sport Centre, High Top Circus also offer special one-off handstand and contortion courses, in addition to their regular weekly aerial yoga and trapeze classes that feature in Sussexport's group exercise timetable.
In the new year, High Top Circus will be offering a Circus Skills Sunday club for children, starting on Sunday 12 January and running for six weeks until Sunday 16 February.
Suitable for seven-17 year olds, High Top Circus will run two classes each week at:
- 9.30am-11am for children aged 7-12 years old
- 11am-12.30pm for children aged 12-17 years old
You can find out more and book your child's place now using our online shop.
Sussexsport is also running a festive squash camp for local children on Monday 23 December from 9am-3pm, aimed at seven-16 year olds of all abilities. Places are still available and can be booked online now.
