SUSSEX PALESTINE ENCAMPMENT                                         

Since 13 May 2024, students at the University of Sussex have established a Palestine protest camp on the lawns in front of the University Library, renaming this space Liberation Square.

MENACS is supporting the Sussex Palestine Encampment and its demands for the University to denounce Israel's mass slaughter of Palestinians and to divest from companies supporting Israel's occupation of Palestine. Updates on the camp's programme of activities can be found here.

We urge Sussex staff and alumni to sign the letter supporting the encampment.

We also recommend donating to the emergency appeal issued by Medical Aid for Palestinians.
