Get free legal advice

Our Law Clinics are a collaboration between final year law students, law academics and external solicitors and barristers. The clinics offer free legal advice to the public, charities, schools and organisations on a variety of legal issues.

Supporting the community

With many people struggling to access legal aid, our Sussex Law Clinics offer valuable assistance to members of the community who are in need. Final year law students are supervised by academics in relevant fields and legal practitioners.

We run a number of different clinics, meaning we reach a wide and varied section of society.

The clinics are dependent on the services of student advisers and only run during University teaching weeks. They take place on campus by appointment only – we don’t accept drop-ins.
