We aim to offer as much option choice as possible.

Your core modules and a flavour of our options are listed on the MA page. 

We plan to offer a further range of additional modules, for you to choose from once you’re registered at Sussex. Any additional option you select will be in place of an option listed on your course page, subject to timetabling and student demand.

Additional options may include:

• Activism for Development and Social Justice
• Critical Debates in Environment and Development
• Doing Gender in Theory and Practice
• Poverty, Vulnerability and the Global Economy
• Re-imagining Peace and Justice

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2024/25. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum. We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
