MS Teams Calling is the new functionality which will allow you to make phone calls from wherever you are to people inside and outside of the University using existing extension numbers in Microsoft Teams. The new functionality, which moves us away from outdated, desk-based landlines and Skype for business, is set to rollout to Schools soon.

Rollout schedule
We will migrate to Teams Calling one School at a time, beginning with the School of Education and Social Work on Wednesday 13 December. The following migrations will commence in the week of the 22 January, with the remaining Schools following fortnightly until late spring 2024. This schedule allows us to avoid migration during the early assessment period at the beginning of January.
A complete schedule will be made available and communicated to Schools shortly.
Each School has been assigned a Change Champion who will help to support the change in your area.
