View along the northern end of Fort Mahon Plage. Bunkers are still located well in the dunes, probably indicating almost no erosion of the dunes over the past 60 years. The erosional features that can be seen in dunes are likely to have resulted from bathers.

Further north along the frontage the dune ridge is well vegetated and does not show any gaps.

About 500m north of the northern end of Fort Mahon Plage an embryo dune ridge start to form in front of a more mature ridge.
