Tips and Tricks for Neurodivergent Students
Monday 17 March 10:30 until 13:00
University of Sussex Campus : Global Studies Resource Centre, Arts C Building
Join other neurodivergent students to reflect on our study skills, learn about support available and create a supportive learning community.
This is a social event where neurodivergent students will share their top 'tips and tricks' for other neurodivergent students. We will also be joined by a Disability Advisor from Student Support who will be talking about Disabled Students’ Allowance and providing advice on the university systems.
The event will involve presentations and interactive discussions. Together we will explore study skills, navigating processes, making connections and spaces on campus.
Maisie Farnham presents 'Reading, Writing, Note-taking'.
Niamh Bowden presents 'Healthy Study while Neurodivergent'
Bradley Clark presents 'Places on Campus for Support'
Claire Townsend presents 'Disabled Students' Allowance'
Everyone is welcome, regardless of diagnosis.
This event is for all students and doctoral candidates.
Signing up here is essential for us to monitor numbers. It also means that you will receive reminders.
If you have any questions, please email Dr Karis Jade Petty: K.Petty@sussex.ac.uk. Karis is the Neurodivergence Lead in Global Studies.
This event is organised and hosted by the Global Studies Neurodivergence Working Group.
We hope to see you there!
