This illustration has been colour-printed, apparently from five distinct blocks, each of which would have been prepared for printing one colour: blue, green, black, yellow, and red/brown. Under the proof, in Dalziel’s hand, is an annotation that reads ‘For Feature Only’. A few pages later, the same album includes a print made for the Maravilla Cocoa Estate, and this image may well be for the same client.
