Our inaugural research theme for 2023/24 is Beginnings.
An ideal start for this new initiative, Beginnings is a multidisciplinary theme that engages with Sussex research in many different ways, encouraging us to think about creation, origins, emergence, natality, and newness. How might ideas of coming-into-being help us think anew about interdisciplinarity, climate change, history, creative practice, and our teaching and research more broadly?
The theme will support events throughout the year, starting with a Beginnings-themed Research Conversation.
