Report by Mécérian (1934) states the structure was once decorated with mosaic pavement and wall paintings. Apparently the mosaic should have been brought to the Museum at Antakya, but this never happened (Djobadze, 1986, 71). Djobadze says he found glass tesserae (Djobadze, 1986, 71); he does not speculate on the original placement of these.
