Migrating out of Poverty Phase 3 Inception Workshop

Tuesday 18 July and Wednesday 19 July partners from Ethiopia, Ghana, Senegal and South Africa will be joining us in Brighton to discuss, plan, and coordinate our third phase of research on: 

• The Migration Industry
• Intra-Household Dynamics and
• Income and Wellbeing

The two-day workshop includes sessions on the background of the consortium, introductions between new and old, and the ways we work with DFID. The main focus will be brainstorming and reflecting on each theme and the quantitative and qualitative questions that may serve each region and unify the research cross-regionally. We will also look at how to address gender and equity within the research, and work to describe and develop communications, research uptake and impact plans. This will include a stakeholder mapping exercise.
